    Grading:
    • Midterm Exam: One midterm exam will be given.
    • Final Exam: The final exam will be comprehensive and administered during finals week.
    • Homework: Homework will be assigned for each lecture. Bring your homework and any questions you have about the problems to class. Lectures will begin by comprehensively reviewing the previously assigned homework problems.
      Homework:   20%
      Midterm: 40%
      Final: 40%

    Late work and missed exams: Except in unusual circumstances, exams and due dates cannot be missed for full credit unless prior arrangements for make-up work have been made.

    Attendance: A passing grade might be attained by self study alone, but some course material and critical course information may be presented in class only.

    Honor code: Adherence to the BYU honor code is encouraged and expected. This includes appropriate dress in class, respectful treatment of others, and refraining from plagiarism, cheating, and any other type of academic dishonesty.
